This Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT4 Sounds Like a Muscle Car as it Tackles a Rally Stage

The Aston Martin Vantage V8 is not exactly what you would consider your normal rally car. As a matter of fact, there’s not a single car in Aston’s lineup that would fit that mold. Aston’s are normally used as a GT car and are perfect for long road trips. They do have a racing heritage and have made quite a name for themselves on the WEC racing circuit. However, that doesn’t mean it can’t look and sound fantastic as it blasts through a windy canyon road rally stage.

This particular Vantage V8 is a GT4 race car that was built and tuned by Makela Auto Tuning. They set the car up so that it could not only handle hot laps at the track but also handle back country mountain road rally stages. While it might be slightly out of its element, the Vantage GT4 handles the stage like a rally champion. And being up in the mountains seems to amplify the incredible exhaust note to the point that if you closed your eyes you would think it was a genuine muscle car. But don’t close your eyes because believe it or not it looks as good as it sounds.
