Australians Take Their Burnouts Very Seriously
The only time that a burnout serves any sort of purpose is if you’re about to do a drag race or some form of racing, and you need to heat your tires up for better traction. Otherwise, the only purpose it serves is the “wow factor.” And if there’s anyone who takes that wow factor very seriously, it’s the Australians. As a matter of fact, they’ve taken burnouts to a whole new level and have actually started doing competitions where vehicles are custom built to do one thing and one thing only. Provide the biggest, baddest, and most obnoxious burnouts in the best possible way.
Take this yellow beast known as the Killa B Camaro for example. It’s fitted with a massive 632 cubic inch motor that runs on straight metal and has a 16/71 Littlefield blower strapped to it. Needless to say, this thing is powerful on another level. It’s rated at 1,750hp, but that’s with a “soft tune,” and is apparently capable of putting out significantly more. But 1,750 is more than enough to reduce any tire to a pile of dust and cumulonimbus size cloud of tire smoke, even the aggressive SUV tires used for competitions. And thanks to specially made tires, they can produce colorized smoke that ends up creating the coolest pictures.
