This is How You Make $25,000 in 5 Seconds Using a 2,000hp 1955 Chevy

Street racing has become incredibly popular over the past few years and the only problem is that it’s incredibly illegal. So to make things a little safer there are what they call “No Prep” races held at drag strips all over the country. The appeal to the “No Prep” is that it’s supposed to be as close to running on the street as possible, without constantly looking over your shoulder for law enforcement to come and ruin your night. By no prep that just means the tracks aren’t swept and sprayed with a sticky substance like they would be for actual drag events to help provide optimal traction.

Surprisingly, you can win a lot of money at these no prep events if you can come out on top at the end of the night. Take this 1955 Chevy for example. It used its giant 632 cubic inch big block motor with 3 stages of nitrous putting out well over 2,000hp to win $25,000 at the Bounty Hunters No Prep. Not too shabby for 5 seconds worth of work.
